Cheyenne South High School

This newly constructed, state‑of‑the‑art four‑year high school provides the City of Cheyenne and Laramie County School District No. 1 with a modern educational facility designed to meet the district’s growing needs. Built to accommodate 1,300 students, the school features 24 laboratories and 88 classrooms supporting a wide range of academic and career‑focused programs, including welding, construction, automotive technology, culinary arts, visual arts, science, and engineering.

 

The design incorporates fully wireless access to data and communication networks, along with interactive technology integrated into every classroom to enhance teaching and learning.

 

Situated on a 55.8‑acre campus, the complex also includes a 750‑seat auditorium, two full‑size gymnasiums, an eight‑lane competition swimming pool, an eight‑lane all‑weather track, a 4,000‑seat football and soccer stadium, tennis courts, and multiple practice fields
