Sustainability is a Standard
There are many factors that contribute to sustainable building design including response to environmental conditions, quality of the interior environment, and durability and longevity. Good architectural design has always been rooted in these fundamental ideas. Designing with these principles, creates buildings that are energy efficient, comfortable, and site specific.

It is ArchFormas' standard practice to implement sustainable design into all of our projects. Additionally, if the client wishes to pursue LEED® Certification, our team, with several LEED® Accredited Professions on staff, will facilitate this process.
Our Company Objectives
Establish an Integrated Team
We at ArchForma have learned that successfully managing a project begins with establishing an integrated team from the very start of our collaboration in Pre Design. This team includes key internal staff, the construction manager, essential stakeholders, and our full design team that can include consultants and engineers. Experience has shown that our greatest opportunities for success arise when all parties are engaged early and participate collaboratively in the decision‑making process throughout the entire life of the project.
Focus on the Most Important Variables
We understand that every project is unique and requires thoughtful evaluation of many variables—including project timelines, budget constraints, aesthetic goals, and functional requirements. Throughout the process, our integrated team at ArchForma works collaboratively to provide informed recommendations that illustrate how these variables influence one another and which should take priority at different stages of the project.
This phase of work typically begins in Pre‑Design and continues through Schematic Design, but it can also extend into Design Development. During this time, the ArchForma team guides our clients and consultants through the decision‑making process to ensure the project’s desired outcomes are achieved.
Reach a Successful Outcome
Once the project is conceptually defined and moving into its final stages, a series of smaller design decisions will continue throughout construction documentation and the building process. The ArchForma team remains fully engaged during this phase, providing guidance and support to help the client and the project reach a successful outcome. Together, we stay focused on the goals established in earlier phases, ensuring that key objectives are upheld throughout the process and that the final result meets—and exceeds—the client’s needs.
